HID lights Comparison
The biggest advantage of using HID bulbs is the lumens vs. watts.
Standard incadecent halogen bulbs produce anywhere from 20-25 lumens per watt.
HID lights produce between 85-95 lumens per watt.

As you can see, the amount of lumens per watt is almost 4x a standard halogen light.

These lights were taken with a single bulb in a PAR36 reflector. The PAR36 reflector is the standard reflector
used in almost all GA aircraft made since WWII. It measures about 4" across and is just about the perfect size for most wing and cowl lights.
All our pictures are untouched. We don't use photoshop to sell lights, we don't need to. All pictures were taken at same apature and shutter.
